Who I am?
I have been a qualified acupuncturist since 1998. I trained at the London School of Acupuncture, which became part of Westminster University in London. As a result, I have both a diploma and a BA (Hons) in Acupuncture. I have had a wide range of experience over my twenty-five years as an acupuncturist, including working for the NHS in a pain clinic and working with IVF patients. I think acupuncture can work well for many people with different illnesses and problems, some of which I have listed below. It can also help improve a general sense of well-being.
Before I went into acupuncture I trained as a Registered General Nurse. I qualified as a nurse in 1984 in London and had fourteen years of experience working in both the NHS and the private sector before training as an acupuncturist.
I keep up to date with Continuing Professional Development courses and I am a fully insured member of the British Acupuncture Council.
