Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a safe and effective practice that can work alongside conventional medicine but also works well as a stand-alone treatment.
Acupuncture has a 2000-year history of successfully treating people and is considered to be beneficial for a wide range of conditions. Many people have acupuncture to relieve specific aches and pains, such as osteoarthritis of the knee, headaches and lower back pain. Acupuncture can also be used to balance the body relieve stress and help with sleep. It is worth asking how it might help you.
It involves the use of fine, sterile, disposable needles. Most people don't feel them being inserted, there can be a mild tingle or dull ache as the needle is adjusted, generally, people can feel deeply relaxed during the treatment.
